7 kW Air-Cooled Automatic Home Standby Generator

At a price comparable to many portable generators, Generac's 7 kW automatic standby generator will supply power to all your home's essential circuits when the power goes out even if you’re away. There's no need to hassle with starting the generator, running extension cords throughout the house or refueling during an outage. The 7 kW can back up the typical kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, furnace, well pump and window air conditioner. Because you back up entire circuits, everything on those circuits, including hard-wired appliances, light switches and receptacles, are covered.

16 kW Air-Cooled Automatic Home Standby Generator

The most powerful air-cooled automatic standby generator on the market is also the quietest ever made! Thanks to Generac's exclusive Quite-Test™ feature, our 16 kW generator is as quiet as a car idling in the driveway during the weekly self test.

With its high efficiency alternator and the largest engine in its class, the 16 kW provides the performance of a larger liquid-cooled model for about half the price. The 16 kW has the power to provide whole house coverage, including a 5-ton* central air conditioner, for many moderately sized homes. If you have two 4-ton air conditioners, the 16 kW will run both units with enough power left over to cover the home's other essential circuits.
